Was his father said to have been a butcher on his marriage cert to Sarah Conless?

Hello Rosie,

I have no idea who her mother was if I’m being honest. A search for Jane woods gives me alot of possible candidates when  it comes to buying a birth certificate for her…

I was hoping to narrow it down somewhat by knowing the name of her sister Ann.

I got this information from their headstone

Could somebody help me locate Jane woods/Hesketh on a census record prior to her marriage?

She was born around 1886-1887 depending on what you look at…

I know she had a sister Ann that was born around 1887 who married a William Mayor…

And according to her marriage certificate her father was called John Woods who had passed away by 1915

This might be a long shot but is there a way you can simply search an address on a census record?

I.E could I somehow search 205 Arlington Street and see the names of who else was living there or do I need the names first?

Hmm that’s very interesting! I’m 99% certain that’s the James I’m looking for…only concern I’d have is that on his marriage to Sarah his father was stated as being John and on this one it’s James.

It seems as though they both could have went between John/James…not unusual but it muddies the water when trying to locate birth records  :D

Also unrelated but I had wondered if James and Sarah were separated by the time of her death since it seemed as tho James had been at Stanley road for quite some time yet when Sarah passed, she was living at Arlington street. Just a thought really

And no problem Lancs, hopefully they’ll help somebody someday :)

I’ve purchased three death certs looking for James Hesketh and I don’t think any are the one I’m looking for….

If anyone else is researching this surname let me know and I will send you them  :)

Fantastic thank you!

I wonder why when I search her on findagrave number and name variations included…nothing comes up ?  :-\

Do they remove some after a while perhaps?

I was hoping to find a photo of the headstone with a little more information perhaps
