Hi Jon

My Great grandmother (Cheesman) married a Furminger, my Furminger line has early origins in Boxley circa 17thC.

I have found a largish Cheeseman group around Sheppy.

If you have a look at my web site (Link is under my profile) you can email me and I will send you what I have on Cheeseman's in Kent.

I have sent you a PM with Amy and her family on the 1881 and 1891 census in case you do not have it.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Walworth - St Peter's

Hi,

Hopefully this is the right board for Walworth.

If someone has access to the PR's, could they kindly check for the following both from IGI.

I am looking to confirm the birth record of Joseph FURMINGER (FIRMINGER) bap 9/10/1836 St Peters Walworth (born 7/7/1836)
son of Francis and Sarah.

If you also have the time a quick check for the marriage of Francis FURMINGER and Sarah Elliott 12/8/1832 St Mary, Newington would be nice.

Many thanks

I have also found Francis and Sarah's marriage at St Mary Newington on the IGI

So for some reason they must have been living there until just after the birth of Joseph.

Hi Cas

Thanks. Also found her on CityArk in the Bredhurst PR's.

With regard to Joesph I was just speculating that as they had mixed up Williams places of birth, that this may also have happened for Joeseph.

Joseph is definately not in the Bredhurst PR's, so will now try and get the Walworh PR's checked.

Thanks for your help on this

Adrian
