Seeking ca. 1850 links in Cos. Wexford and/or Carlow to these folks...
Bernard and Ann McMahon C/Kavanaugh...who were the parents of my greatgrandfather Charles Cavanaugh (1847-1913) who emigrated to America in 1853 on the SS "Intelligencer" with several of his siblings and/or cousins, but not with his parents.

Seeking links in County Roscommon to James Gaffney, who emigrated alone to America in 1846 on the SS "Macedonia" out of Liverpool. He settled in Newburgh, NY, by 1848 when he married Mary Dennis (d. 1898), and their four children included my greatgrandmother Mary Jane Gaffney Cavanaugh (1849-1921) and also daughters who married William McPhilliamy and Patrick J. McDonald in the US in the 1870's.

Seeking links to either Michael Redmond (1792-1872) and/or his wife, Catherine Sutton (1797-1888) and one of their children,  Anastacia Nolan/Knowlan (!823-1895) and her husband James (d. by 1855), all of whom emigrated to Lake County, Illinois, USA in 1850 where they purchased a farm near Lake Forest. Anastacia and her second husband, John C. Jackson (1815-1896). whom she married in October, 1855, were my mother's grandparents.
Am unsure exactly where in County Wexford they originated.
Their gravestone in Illinois is shown in photo.

Seeking a specific family link from Patrick Wiseman (d. 1917) of Ballywatermoy, donator of the Gospel Hall there in the late 1800's, to my direct ancestor, Archibald Wiseman (1813 - 1853), who left Ballywatermoy Townland in Antrim in 1833-35 (Ordnance Survey Records) with an Ann Wiseman, left Liverpool aboard the SS "Lanark" and arrived in New York in 1836, to join his elder brother James in Newburgh, NY, married in 1838 and became the father of my grandmother's mother in 1842. He "died at sea " in 1853 (?). Photo is of ruin of early 19th Century Wiseman home, taken in April 2006.

Renfrewshire / McNeals of Paisley, 1800-1850

Seeking links to a John McNeal, b. Paisley, 1802, a tailor, who emigrated with his family (a wife whose maiden name may have been Wilson, son Peter (b. about 1833, son John (Jr) (b.; 1840, d. 1923) and a younger daughter) to America in 1845 and was settled in Newburgh, NY, USA by 1853. His wife and daughter passed away shortly after their arrival in USA. I am a greatgreatgrandson through John McNeal (Jr), who became a successful mason contractor in Newburgh after service in the American Civil War in 1862.
The photo is of my father, John's only grandchild, when my Dad was 1 year old in 1903.
