Hi Julie,

Thanks for getting in touch, the cap badges are similar but when compared side by side there is a difference.

Hi Jon

Thanks very much for all the information I did not realise thay he was involved with the training of officer cadets.

I will try to get his service records although it could be a problem not having his service No. Who would hold the records?

I am attaching the photo at 300 dpi j-peg I hope ::) let me know if it is OK.

Regards,
Adrian

Durham Lookup Requests / Re: census lookup Dale 1901, 1891 please

Hi Pels,

Thanks for your help, when i looked for John on the 1911 census i searched under Durham as i had been told that he was born in the Easington area.
Northumberland is not available yet on the 1911 website but should not be long. I am starting to wonder if i have the wrong John George and need to look under Northumberland? To make matters worse he was also know as George so in earlier census he could appear as George.

Hi Pels,

Thanks for getting back to me, yes it it could well be Framwell Gate rather than Tramwell Gate, I have just had another look at the 1911 census and it could be an F and not T.

Hi,
I am trying to find John George Dale in the 1901 and 1891 census, In the 1911 census he is shown as age 27 born Tramwell Gate Durham, and was living in Washington Co Durham. He was born in March 1884 in Tynemouth reg district. He was married to Margaret Fawcett Leigh in June 1903 Tynemouth reg district.

I have tried to find him myself with no luck and hope a fresh set of eyes will help.

Regards, Adrian

Hi Polldoll,

I have a mouse mat with a wrist support on it and it helps to a certain extent. It is also important to have a good chair which you can be adjusted to suit the individual. Also remember to take a break at least every 2 hours.

Moira what is a vertical mouse? I've not heard of it does it stand on it's back legs ;)
