Cheshire / Re: Bowdon Burial January 1873 - Emma Rigby

My Great grandmother is buried at Bowdon Church .
I got a grave number and it took a long time to find it scratching away grass from the corners to find the number. There were very few cleared at that time.
The churchyard has been cleared of brambles now and lots of stones have been cleaned so it might be worth another look.

Occupation Interests / Back Wheeler
« on: Sunday 16 November 08 15:02 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,
I have found someone in my tree whose occupation was
Back Wheeler.
He lived in Clitheroe, Lancashire and i am assuming that he worked in
Low Moor mill with the rest of the family.
Can anybody tell me what a back Wheeler was please?
I have googled it but it hasn't helped!

Thanks

I've found Leysters on the modern map and have been able to trace lots more Nutts in the same area!

It's good to be able to rely on Rootschatters for help with a problem!
You are a clever lot out there!

I have just printed of a census entry for Thomas Nutt b 1832.
It says he was born in Lystire Poll, Worcestershire.
I've googled it and looked on maps but can't find anything like it.

Does anybody have any idea what it could be?
