yn9man, I have MCKEE too but not from Hampshire.  They're ... well... from Ireland and then Middlesex, Kent, Bromsey.   My MCKEE of interest married into the SMITH name.

Let me know if that is of any interest.

I will watch and post of all WILLIAMS I come across that may be of interest to anyone here.

I came across this site while trying to identify a uniform in a picture.  Thought it might be useful to others.

Hi Jen,

I am also looking for WILLIAMS in Hampshire.  As far as I know, I'm looking in the Greywell area.  Specially, Henry WILLIAMS b 1810.

Let me know who you're looking for and maybe we can tag team  :D

Thought I would share the mysterious paper with you.

I recently figured out the first address being Hainault only by googling it.  Pilgrim is solved...  As for Aunt Norah, I know she married someone named Wake.  Or at least I suspect it.  I have a marriage noted that I need the certificate for.   The last address was added much later... I can tell by the handwriting.  I have no idea if the last person is related.

Well, that's a good question.  But its about a century after the Aldridge girls.

Esther (b.CLEMENT) was born in 1888 and married into the ALDRIDGE family.  I don't even know her husband's first name.  I know his initial is H though.

Her sister Edith Clement (m. Leonard) was b. 1882 and married 1905.  Esther would have been married after that.  I would assume the paper is from much later on.

Even my grandmother Bessie CLEMENT b.1886 (m. Williams) was married in 1913.  So this paper must be from the 1920s I would think.  If not later.

If it is a grand house, its a nice change from their waterman heritage!

Great... more to buy!   But thanks for the info.  I will find out how many more records I will need.

Is it possible that they go to both chruches?  Please say no....  :D

All the census records say Greywell so I'm inclined to start there.

Thanks for your help

I have a mystery piece of paper that i have been working on.  It contains 4 addresses. One of which is wierd.... it says the following

Aunt Esther

Mrs. H. Aldridge
Pilgrim
Lymington, Hants
England

Any idea what the "Pilgrim" means?

Thanks,
Nancy

Unfortunately I have no idea what his parent's names are.  That's where I"m stuck.

I might have to buy the Greywell fiche... but what's this about Odiham?  Do you think I might need fiche for there too?

Thanks
Nancy
