Hi MacGillean,

Yes, I do have family listed there, I believe.  My ggrandfather was John Ellis, b. 1842 in Co Offaly.  He married Belinda (Bella, Belenda - according to different sources) and had 5 children, 4 girls and a boy, George, my grandfather.  I am unable to piece together too many at this point but I am sure they are related.  Possibly siblings?

I will keep going.... you might like to try the irish census online (google) and you will see the listings.  It makes great reading.

In the meantime, I will be in touch if I hit the jackpot.

All the best.

I am looking for my g/grandfather who was John Ellis.  He was born c.1849/50 in Cork, as far as I can make out.  He married Belinda Russell, who was possibly from Limerick.  She seems to just have appeared from nowhere!

Any help would be appreciated.

With thanks,

M!

Limerick / Baker - C of I, Rathkeale, Askeaton, Nantinan, Ballingrane

Hi,

I am seeking any Bakers from the above mentioned parishes.  They were Church of Ireland parish members and all but one of the 10, my grandmother, emigrated to the US (7) or UK (2).

Anybody with any information on them or their future families would be greatly appreciated.  Then I can bring my family tree into the 20th century!

Thanks!
