basically the Newspaper article does say father Thomas Bellringer matches  about Olympics and says Roy followed his fathers footsteps and boxed and was part of Jack Solomans promotions

the 1939 newspaper article was about a Roy Lawrence Bellringer age 23 a Proffesional wrestler stole a cape and was bound over for 2 years.
there was also a theft of wine and ale same year

well maybe someone at the cemetery may have an archive boof with info in worth a try you have memorial ID so worth a try  Sandie

David if you are looking for Sarah Cook born 27 Aug 1784 her baptism in St Marys Barking says Parents Robert & Sarah Cook.

there are some "discoveries" very difficult to decide on, when I sent for my grandfathers cert I was very surprised to find a different surname, now I nor any family had any knowlege of this and no marriage has ever been found.....years after I finallly decided to to DNA and am 99% sure I know who my great grandfather might have been but decided not to contact family as he had been a married man with family, I am happy with my decision and I am sure you will be whatever you deside. good luck
