Hi K Baby,  I am one of Di's chatmates down in Tauranga.  Over the last few months since her illness she constantly sent me text messages as to how she was and now the phone is dormant.  Unfortunately I couldn't  make it up to the service but was thinking of her at 1.30pm.   Rob phoned  me last Saturday and told me that he and Bre were with her at the end which was lovely.  We in here have all lost a lovely friend and are missing her heaps.  Do keep coming in and letting us how Bre is getting on.

My heart goes out to Rob, Bre, and all the family.  I had lovely chats with Diane many times and will miss her humour   She was certainly a lovely lady.  She is now free from pain and may she rest in peace.

Hi Chatters,  I received an email from Yorvick's sister this morning which I will share with all her friends.  She is going to Auckland on Friday and will read out all the messages you have all sent.   Diane continues to fade slowly.  Some days she is awake and able to communicate a little bit.  Other days she sleeps and not awake much.  She does not appear to be in pain as they are managing it which makes here sleep.   Last weekend her other eyelid became so swollen that its difficult for her to see anything now.   Ev erybody at the hospital are so kind, rubbing her back and feet and talking to her.   Her mum goes up each day and sits with her talking about the good times.  Diane's face brightens and sometimes gives a little chuckle.   Its nice to know that, despite the face she cannot talk.  She still understands and is able to take pleasure from family visits.

I only wish I had better news to tell you all.

I'm all for a kiwi meet up, would be fantastic.   Cornwall Park would be great in February as that's where we got married.
