Thanks. Didn't have any clue where to search for Australia deaths.  The Kilbride area would be correct.  Now more thinking they were neighbours to my Mum and Grandmother but i will investigate more.

Australia / Tom and Peggy(Margaret)McClure Perth Area
« on: Thursday 07 March 24 12:33 GMT (UK)  »
Hello, I have recently found a couple of letters to my late Mother and Grandmother in Ballyclare, Co.Antrim Northern Ireland from a Peggy McClure from the Perth area. Her Husband was called Tom and she had a son called Andrew. Tom died in 1985 and Peggy in 2004.
I have found Tom and Peggy headstone at East Rockingham Cemetery.

How can i find out more information about them?  I think they were originally from the Ballyclare area in Northern Ireland and moved to Australia late 1960's early 1970's. Trying to see if they are related to our family. Duncan, Stewart.

Thanks

John

Antrim / Re: Ballyeaston 1st and 2nd Presbyterian Churches
« on: Friday 23 February 24 09:50 GMT (UK)  »
My great-great grandfather, John Biggerstaff, was born October 9, 1806, probably in Ballyboley.  His wife, Jeanette (Janet) Campbell, was born January 1, 1807, also in that area.  They were married at either 1st or 2nd Presbyterian on November 9, 1827.  Their first 7 children were baptized as follows: twins James and Elizabeth (July 9, 1828), John Jr. (July 1, 1830), Helena (November 20, 1831), William (January 9, 1834), Hugh (November 21, 1835) and Jane (February 4, 1838).  I would like to verify which congregation they belonged to and if there is any information on John and Jeanette's parents or other family.  They left for the US in 1839, where my great grandfather was born in 1842.  I have visited the area and took pictures of both churches and plan to return in September 2023.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

Hi from my records of First Ballyeaston there were no Biggerstaff's married or baptised in the Church. Probably Second ballyeaston.

Hi

Have a look at the link to the current Killyless Store facebook page. It recently had a picture of the building.

Hi John

The dates are Dates of Birth.

The Original records do have the Baptismal date but when the records were put onto computer by members of the Church they didn't put the baptismal date in.

The above is taken from the computerised records.(easier to search lol)

Hi

I have photos of a map of the graves which gives names on them.  Nots sure of this is who is burried or who owns the grave.  If you PM me your email address I will sent them to you.
