Hi, just seen this and rediscovered the album, two asking for the same man so I have photographed his album page.

Thank you, I knew my G Granny Alice, their daughter and sister and it was never spoken about in the family.  My mother said that her Mum, my Granny had never mentioned it even though they were her Aunt and Grandfather, and didn’t even know if she knew about it.

Wow, that so looks like Emma if you're not looking for Eunice.  I am sure it's Eunice especially if you compare the a in Ward to the supposed a of Emma they look nothing alike.

Thank you very much both of you

I saw that marriage but couldn't work out how you'd get Emma from Eunice, I even looked at the transcript on freeBMD but that is just a list of names.
If she's in Rotherham as a servant and you can see her signature and it looks like Eunice that's great thank you!
The certificates as a PDF looks like a really good idea, it'll save money and come quicker!

Fantastic, thank you yes that is them. Where on the GRO are you seeing the maiden names?
I thought they were only available post 1911 but then I haven't done much family history over the past few years so I seem to be out of date with my sources.

Hi
I am trying to find the maiden name of Eunice/Annis and her marriage to John Skidmore.  She appears on the 1871 and 1881 census' as Eunice or Annis born 1845 Stafford/Sedgely with various children. Her death record is in 1920 aged 75 and she appears on the 1911 census as born in Gornal and married for 45 years (1865ish) . There a marriage record for Eunice Cleulow on the GRO with John Skidmore and Benjamin Cox but other records show that that Eunice married Benjamin, can anyone help me please????
