Thanks for your reply Iria. I think I have most of that info. I also have a Louis Chiocchi who was born in the city (assumed) in 1800.

Isle of Man / Bundy Family IoW

Does anyone have info for the Bundy's circa1850-1900?
Apparently they worked as brickmakers on the Wellow Manor estate for quite a while.
Also, they also opened up a cycle shop on the island.
Any help appreciated.

Europe / Chiocchi - Italy to UK

Can anyone recommend a reference to help track down when the first Chiocchi's arrived from Italy. They ended up in Liverpool and my hunch is that they arrived in the end of the 1700's / early 1800's.

Cheers all.

Europe / An Italian bloodline expert? Help!!
« on: Tuesday 30 November 04 19:17 GMT (UK)  »
Hello all, I have just been told of a bloodline going back the  1500's in Italy. Can anyone help me find an English speaking aid? Maybe someone on this site has some expertise?
I don't want to divulge too much just yet as it may all come to nothing and I will end up looking more of a dope than usual. :-[
Please help.

I know my Grandmother was living at 152, Woolfall Crescent in Huyton, Liverpool before and during the WWII. I was just hoping to find out if any of the Chiocchis (She was Alice Jnr) still lived there.

Hello all, can anybody reccommend a source for looking up a prisoner of war's details - my Grandfather? I have a name, rank and a Stalag Nš (although this may be a little muddled)
Signalman Frederick Arthur Bundy - POW Nš4111 - Stalag 306 (XVIIIB)
The address I have is Germany although I suspect it's actually Austria.

Plus, what's the best way to discover the history of an address in England?

Thanks if you can help.
