Shropshire / Can't find marriage or death of Eleanor Longmore (1783)
« on: Wednesday 18 February 09 02:03 GMT (UK)  »
I have three different Eleanor Longmore(s) to track. I would like to find any additional information about them such as marriage or death records. Here is the the christening record data for the three Eleanors' from the parish records.

1. Astley Abbotts, 20-FEB-1783, parents (Joseph and Joice).
2. Madeley, 13-MAR-1785, parents (Joseph and Mary)
3. Broseley, DEC-1787, parents (Henry and Mary)

One of these three is the mother of Henry Longmore born 1814 in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

It is nice to get some feedback. I have been working intensely on Longmores in England for a while now. I use werelate wiki (see links below) to help with collaboration. I welcome you or any others who are interest to add to it or help clarify in anyway. Yes I am familiar with the msheppard site list. I have contacted her in past but she told me she is not actively working on it at this time. I have plans to convert the data from these pages and store it in a database for search purposes. See links below for a version of the Longmore Search Page (work in progress).

Where my information starts getting sketchy on my direct line is with Eleanor/Ellen Longmore around 1814 in Bridgnorth. I found Henry her sons birth/christening (19 Jan 1814 in Bridgnorth) date on the parish records of the St Leonards Church in Bridgnorth. I will list a few links that give more details about my research.

I am trying to locate any others who have an interest in the LONGMORE family surname. And particularly those researching in and around Shropshire. I will followup with further details depending on the responses. I live in the USA and want to start a correspondence with someone who may be closer the sources available within Shropshire and surrounding area (or England in general for that matter).
