hi,
trying to find where my greatgrandfather was born. his name was owen toner b 1860 armagh, his parents were peter toner and catherine mcgill. owen left ireland for scotland .he married catherine bell in bathgate west lothian in1885 moved to motherwell died in 1928. i know where he went but not where he came from . I've tried every thing not sure what to do next.
 any help would brilliant.

the imformation in this tree is mine. stuart emailed me last week we are distantly related through the bell
side of his family. thanks pip i dont think i will ever find owen in ireland never mind.

thank you nell i don't know where to go next i've got owen from  marriage to his childrens births to where he lived and died but not where he came from all i know is he was b 1859/60 ireland his parents where peter toner and catherine mcgill . its so frustrating .

they married 28 sept or oct 1885 catholic church i got from s p but its not a good copy

trying to find marriage of owen toner and catherine bell , they married in 1885 in bathgate catholic church. owen was born in ireland  , i've hit a brick wall is there any chance  it will be recorded when  they  married.  pulling my hair out trying to find where he was from. any idea's would be brlliant
