A strange thing has happened on my PC in the last 2-3 days which I cannot get rid of so would appreciate any help/adviceI have windows XP professional and i have had two screens on the P.c for as long as i can remember just like yours but it never bothers me,You don't need to do all you are doing that's a long way round
I am the sole user of the PC and do not have a lo gin id to access it
Normally when I boot up - it goes straight to my desktop with all the various icons etc
Suddenly - I now get a blue screen with a line down the middle
Left of the line is the Microsoft XP logo plus "To begin, click your user name"
To the right of the line is a white square with what looks like a green frog in it and to the side of the square it says "User"
I now have to click the frog to get to my desktop
Microsoft have installed a number of updates recently - is this the result of one of them?
How do I get rid of it?
