They are resting peacefully in Wick Old Cemetery Section K Lair 347 and 348. Murdoch and Christina are in 348, along with two of their grandchildren. And one of Murdoch's sons with his family are in 347. Yesterday was a good day. Thanks all

  Regards,
    Steve

Just wanted to update this thread with the news that Murdoch and family have been found!! I can not thank the folks on this list enough for your assistance in solving this little mystery that has been bothering me for so long. I only hope that I can help some one else the way this forum has helped me.
So I guess that it is one down, about 100 brickwalls left to go.
Again, many thanks.

   Regards,
     Steve

If they aren't in the MI's , does anyone have any suggestions on what I can pursue from here. I checked the stat. death records that I had for Murdoch and Christina, and they just list Breadalbane Terrace, Pultneytown. No other info is given.
  Thanks,
   Steve

Thanks for checking for me. I am at a loss as to where this family could be buried. I have two different Rosie families that merged through marriage, and they have to be somewhere. I am still fairly sure that if I can find one or two, I will find many more.
   I appreciate your help.

More than I was hoping for James, great stuff. I also followed the thread you posted on the British-Genealogy Forum, and saw numerous names that are connected. So of course I signed up there too. You folks have been very kind to a novice.
Of course, I still have to find out where old Murdoch and family are buried, but that might have to wait until tomorrow. I do have a bit of info overload ;)
  Many thanks,
       Steve

Thanks for those links James. Any info I can gather is great. May I ask how Breadalbane Terrace and Crescent are linked location wise? And are there any detailed maps that I can get my hands on?

In 1871 I have him at #14 Breadalbane Terrace. And I also have kin at #21 and #23.
  Thanks,

It was brought to my attention that Christina Wilson's birthdate did not make sense. Thankyou for pointing it out. It should read:
   Christina Wilson b. Oct 31,1809

Sorry for the confusion, my typo, and I have corrected it in the first post.
