Hi, I often go to the library in Wick which has the archive records for Caithness and records of BDM's. If there is any yhing specific you want to find out, let me know and I will see what I can find

Hi, thank you. My Birds are from Beenham and Wiltshire. Its my dads descendants, the Halls that hail from Warwickshire. Stretton on Fosse, little Woolford and Leminington - 1700's - 1900's  :)

Hi, Thanks very much for that. I used to Live in Stoke row, nr Henley and prior to that Reading born and bred and used to visit Maidenhead weekly for one reason or another. however 5 1/2 years ago, I moved to Scotland and now lots of resources out of reach- now that I've started research- Typical  ::) LOL. On the certificate it says 38 Tyerells buildings, Maidenhead, thats all I know. Anything else you can find will be very much appreciated.

The Tyrells story came from a very helpful lady at M'head Library.  You're right it was pretty much a slum.  My Gx2 grandfather was William Harding and wife Emma Tuckwell and 4 children.  From there it was East Street which I don't think was a lot better.  Next time I have them is 1881 and they are at 24 Norfolk Park Cottages with a daughter, Alice aged 25, but not seen earlier.

Hi just new to the site, do you know anything about the tyrells buildings in the 1920's, my grandmother Irene Sayers- otherwise Symmonds lived there when she got married in 1923 as stated on her marriage cert.

Hello, ive just joined today so hello everyone. Im just tracing my mums side of the tree and have just found out my nan lived at 38 Tyrells Buildings in Maidenhead, I have just read it used to be an army barracks but has any one got further knowledge of it please. :)
