Hello Chris, on some of my earlier Family Marrage notices  are the initials B T (not for the Obvious reasons  I don't think they were around in the 16/1700's) I know they mean Bishops Transcribe, I know what a Bishop is and Represents, I know what  Transcribe Means, but I cannot put the two together and make sense of, I asked my local Bishop recently  and he didn't know either Can you help? thanks Anne 0510.

I know enough of my Grand Mother's family to keep me busy, except her Mothers Maiden Name. can you help  fill in that gap?  her Christian name was Louisa, married John Smith,  French Polisher, he was born abt1826 they had 11 Children between 1847-1868,  on the 1871 census John is down as Widower, but I have no date for Louisa's death. in hopefull thanks.A0510.

Hi Chris, can you help, I am trying to trace my Grand Father no/3 who's birth may have been about 1800 his name was George Haddock occupation was Whitesmith, he had a son George Christopher born Nottinghamshire, c1821,who married Sarah Murray25/12/1843 in Middlesex  and the father George  name is on the Marriage certificate and that is all I know of him,I have been unable to trace any info on census. now getting desperate.

Hi Chris, thank you so much for all the Dearing information  I knew there were quite a few arouind  as I have a C D of marriages, but Baptism I never had to many of so no Info on who had how many Children, Are there many Desendance left in the area do you know? My grand father Albert and his Brother George came down to London, about mid 1800's and this where I originate from, so the help of S F H G has been a great help to me and now yourself, I am sure I shall be in contact  with you Again, Happy Easter, A0510.

Hi I am new toall this, my Dearing/Deering Ancestors came from Heathfield Area I would like to know if I can find out if any Fought in the Battle of Hastings, and if poss the main source of occupations.from 1575 thanks. A1931
