We have an Ann Thow in our tree born about 1798 Lochlee Angus, she was the daughter of John Thow and Jean Gordon.  I'm not too sure if we have a match or not

I'm looking for some help I'm trying to trace desendants of Thomas McBain Thow and Jessie Maggie MacCuish they lived in Dunfermline early 50's, unfortunately I don't know to much about them.  My grandfather is their eldest son Thomas McBain Thow who later married Agnes Dickson from Springburn Glasgow.  I'm trying to trace my grandfathers brothers and sisters side of the family as well as find out what may have become of my grandfather as my mum and him lost contact in the late 70's when his married broke down with my gran.

Any help would be great!

I'm currently researching part of my family tree and have came to a stumbling block, my great grandparents were Thomas Thow and Jessie MacLuish (McCuish) who married in 1927 in Inverness.  My problem is that the trail from here seems to have gone cold, from Jessie's marriage certificate her parents were Malcolm Macluish and Mary MacBean who was deceased at the time of the marriage.  My problem is that I can't seem to find any trace of the either Malcolm or Mary getting married or Jessie's birth which makes me think they name may have been logged incorrectly.  If anyone could help with this side of my great I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks, but unfortunately scotlandspeople don't seem to have any details for these births as most birth pre 1855 were registered with the parish.  I'll keep looking the problem is that with the name Donnelly its hard to find anything in scotland as all ties come back to ireland, the main reason for saying antrim area is that most of my family seem to have come from that area.

I'm looking for information on Henry Donnelly who married Helen Kerr they had 6 children Thomas 1835, James 1839, Mary 1841, Helen 1841, Catherine 1843 and Hugh 1847.  Henry seems to have emigrated to Scotland late 1840's early 1850's as he appears on the 1861 census as a flesher at Dovecothall Neilston but I can't seem to find any information on him prior to Neilston.

Any help would be smashing as my tree seems to have came to a complete stop!
