Thank you Scotmum.  I've just re visited the Record I have from the Union Hospital and the area that Agnes Snr gave that she was from prior to being in the UH was Clogher.

Agnes Snr was 24 in 1918 and on one page it states that she was a Servant and when Rachel was born no employment is recorded.

Thank you again for your time and help.

Regards,

Kathryn

Thank you.  Better still at £15.  Do you think that I might be able to find Rachel's sister Agnes' birth.  I don't have an exact date of birth for her but on a record I have from Enniskillen Workhouse when Rachel was born it gives Agnes' age as 3.  Mother also Agnes McNamee gives her age as 24.  No other info available I'm afraid.

Regards,

Kathryn

Fermanagh / Births in Enniskillen in 1918

Hello.  I have someone who was born on 16 May 1918 in Enniskillen Workhouse.  I have a record of her birth but wonder if I am able to apply for a Certificate to show for Legal purposes.  The lady is deceased and her name was Rachel McNamee.  She was born illegitimate.   I am also trying to find out about her sister who was born in 1915 also illegitimate and the mother.  Both were named Agnes.  I will have to go back and check roughly how old the mother was.  Apparently the mother was RC.

Morning all.

I haven't gone off the radar completely, just trying to sort a few things out before I come back.

Kindest regards,

Kathryn

Regarding the deaths of Ellen and Jeremiah,  am not sure as I can't see that Ellen Snr had a girl child called Mary.  Nothing would surprise me anymore.  Talk about 50 Shades of Gray!!!  Also, not aware of this boy child in 1915.

Thank you both.  I appreciate this info.  It's ---- law that there is no record for person that I'm interested in. Something will hopefully come to light.  Your time and help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Kathryn

Hello.  The Sheehan Family I am researching is the one in Buttevant Lane and am interested in Ellen the daughter.  Someone on Ancestry gave me the maiden name of Ellen's mother being Aherne/Ahern.  I do apologise if I am getting things wrong and wasting your time.
