Hi
My family of Price (John)  arrived in Hulme  Manchester around 1850 and he married at Manchester Cathedral 1851.

Later down the family line his son married a Winifred Foy who'se family arrived in Hulme from Galway.

No Charles I'm aware of.

Stockport is around 11 miles from Hulme.

Hi. My dad Thomas is Ethel's son.  She married Anthony Berry.  I would love to see the photograph as would my dad and my two sisters. I am seeing everyone tomorrow for our mum's birthday.  Can't wait to tell them.

Will you send me your email address.....are you on ancestry?

Hi. My nana was Ethel Almond. I know my dad had an aunty Maggie and a cousin named Margaret Price. He told me two of my Nana's sisters died from burns which must have been Edith and Elizabeth as we have a photo of my nana with Emma when they were middle aged My Nana's mum was a Sunday school teacher that's all I can remember being told

Hi
My nana was Margaret Almond who married Thomas Price from Hulme in Manchester.
If this seems like same family will you send me direct message with your email and we can share further information.

Right I've found the family in 1911,but nothing after that.

I presume dad Thomas was the chap killed in WW1 in 1915?

Can't see Mary Ann or John in 1939 (using his exact DOB)

Hopefully someone else will see what they can do.

Carol

Mary Ann remarried in 1917 to a Walter Jones and they had a son called Richard Jones...

Walter Jones b 9th May 1890.
Mary Ann born 4th April 1882

Thanks..can you give address?

No trace of John then I take it? I suppose being in 30s he will have his own house by then...

As Liz said, did he marry, have children, have you found him on the 1939 register?
If not then it helps to narrow down his date of death.

Where is he in 1911?

Carol

In 1911 he`s with his parents and brother living in Hulme.

I'm struggling with any other info...my Dad says he remembers him as a kid (dad born 1938) and thinks he did marry....also family story suggests he may have died in an industrial accident at the iconic  Express Buildings in Manchester (Ancoats) when a roll of paper used to print newspapers somehow crushed him to death...he was dead before 1960...
