« on: Wednesday 19 January 22 22:27 GMT (UK)  »
Dear Monica,

Thank you so much for the work you have done on this query.
I have been waiting for a copy of Robert Woods death Certificate from SP. Broke my heart to spend 16 pounds. However it came the other day so I can confirm I am looking at the corect Robert WOOD/ Margaret WALLACE.

My problem I am missiing almost all of their siblings. I know John asnd Margaret(Peggie) thansk to your replies.   I have 5 of Robt & Margarets their grandchidren but no father or mother. Unless some could look up a birth at SP.   Because of privacy of living people it would have to be done by private message.

Thank you again.

Margaret Reay BELL b 1886 Abbey St.Bathans died Whitrig Eccles, 1955
her husband Robert WOOD b 1880 Ayton may have died  1971 Coldstream.
They were married1908 at 2 Shandon Terrace, Edinburgh.

I was trying to figure out who their children and spouses were.

This is part of the descendants of Alexander BELL and Agnes TROTTER.

Angus (Forfarshire) / Re: Help in 1884 St Vigeans address

Thank you both.  The information regarding Beattie/Fyffes is intriguing.

This enquiry was linked to a GLASS cousin of mines ancestors. However my Mothers was a BEATTIE
and she had connections to Beatie's in the same general area including Brechin Road & Wardykes.

When John FYFE was born 21 July 1884 at 7 Ogilvy Place His father John LYALL married Margaret FYFE at 21 Ponderlaw Street, on 6 June 1884 his residence was Slade, Carmylie.

A coincidence maybe one I will try to follow up on.

Kincardineshire / Re: STEPHEN family late 1700's Stonehaven
« on: Saturday 13 April 19 23:01 BST (UK)  »
A cousin recently passed away in Arbroath. When I went to update my family tree I noticed that
I had not entered any information for his wife who was A STEPHEN before her marriage.

So I have recently worked on this line and discovered that the GOVES and STEPHENS are married into each others lines.  I have a GOVE married into my BEATTIE line  that is
Andrew GOVE d 1931 William St, Gourdon and his wife d 1875 The Grange, Kinneff.

The STEPHEN  line starts with the marriage in 1894 Catterline of James Lees STEPHEN and Catherine Douglas GOVE.  In 1861 her father James Douglas GOVE married Mary Ann STEPEN in Catterline.

I am interested in working on trying to sort out the various lines.
I also see that Catherine D GOVE's brother James married  Susan GOVE in 1892  at #5 Catterline.   I also saw that May GOVE daughter of James GOVE & Catherine Douglas married William STEPHEN in 1867 at Catterline.
she brought a daughter with her to the marriage born in Benholm.

Seems like my cousin is related to all these people through marriage.. Some of this info is also on the Facebook group called Kincardineshire.

I was looking at a 1936 Wedding but cannot fined the street in the maps or on Google.

Jessie Bradford BEATTIE and her sister Agnes Jan Bradford BEATTIE were living there when Jessie married John PETRIE  at the Drill Hall, Carnoustie.

Any Ideas?
