I have the Tough MI book, and have looked on all the census from 1841-1901. In the 1901 the childrens names are Annie, Eliza, Robert and Alexander. Have deaths for all.

Thanks for all your ideas will keep on trudging thru! Certainly have been spending alot on SP!

Hi
The name was Cecy Mitchell died Jan. 27, 1907, on a headstone in the Tough Kirkyard. I have looked on Scotlands People, and haven't had much luck.

Aberdeenshire Lookup Requests / name

HI
Have found a name on a headstone but can not find a death for this name. Maybe it is short for something, I just don't know what. Any ideas on what the first name CECY may be another name for? Death is in the early 1900's, Aberdeenshire.
Thanks, Szac

Hi Szac, can I also accept your offer.
I also have an interest in McCREADIE in Ballantrae. Also I'd be intereested in any PEEBLES that may be there - I descend from the marriage of James PEEBLES and Jane/Jean McCREADIE and they have children born in the Ballantrae area.

TIA

There are several McCreadies and a couple Peebles, if you still need them.  Sorry for taking so long to reply.
