Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Re: parish of Binsey

Hi Janway,

Thank you for the info, it has been a help. I did not know about his first marriage to Sarah Birchall. Also did not have John Edward Beechey.

Could only find a Thomas Beechey on 1851 census, that was born in Witney. Is that who you found?

I'm descended from Frederick Henry Beechey. If there is anything I can help you with just ask.   :)

So Samuel married twice? And died in 1850?

I may be looking for the same family. My greatx3 grandfather was Thomas Beechey. According to the census he was born in Oxfordshire, possibly Binsey. It's difficult to read the original image.

I know that his father was a Samuel Beechey, who was a farmer.

But my Thomas Beechey was born about 1823. Assuming he knew when he was born. As in later cenus records he said he was born in Banbury. And also one where it said town unknown.
