Hello chakraglow
George Marsden is my GGG/Grandfather.
I have been looking for information on George for ages.
All i have is he was married to Frances Moorcroft on the 27/07/1818at Brewood Staffordshire.
They had a son William who is my GG/Grandfather he married Jane Venables on the 27/10/1861.
I know that a daughter was born after George had died about 1825 and that Frances was living in
Ashover.
If you have any information i would be most grateful.
Thank you
Brae

Hello,
Thanks for your replies.
William was born in Derbyshire but I have it as 1825,not sure  where he was born. Didn't know about the brothers will have a look into them. I think she had a daughter after George had died, she was christened at Brewood and also called Fanny, they were living in Ashover Derbyshire.
Thanks again
Brae

He was a millwright and came from Derbyshire.  They had a son William born 1823 and a daughter Fanny who was born 1825. Any information would be great, been stuck on George for a long time. Thanks Brae

Hi Mallow,
Didn't know about Harriet, thank you for that.
Haven't been doing the Williams side of the family very long.
I don't know much about George Dale who Louisa married.
Louisa and Frederick had  6 children including Dora, I cannot find Katie after the 1891 census. Frederick became one of the borough of Stafford's auditors. They had a son George who won the Military Medal and the French Croix de Guerra in 1918 for bravery in the field, must have been named after Louisa's father.
Will now look into Harriet and George, are they from the Stafford area? Thanks

Hi Mallow,
Louisa was my G/Grandmother.
The reason you might not have been able to find her after 1901 is she remarried in 1907 to a George Dale.
Don't know much about him.
Louisa was a Williams and her father was a butcher by trade, Louisa and Frederic married in Salt. But I'm sure you already know some of this. I think I found the family on the 1871 census living in Goalgate street, could not quite work out the mothers name looked like Dorphy A Williams. Fredric and Louisa's daughter Ethel was my Gran. How are you connected?

Hi Mallow
Frederick Crewe was my G/Grandfather, his daughter Ethel was my Grandmother.
I think Frederick was married before, as on his wedding certificate to Louisa it says widower. I think Dora's mother was Eleanor, I have not found a birth or death for Katie. Please let me know if i can help.
