Hi to all concerned with the Tapping family of Bledlow
I am Ashley Deans of Uxbridge, England and have come to a point in my tree where my family is connected to the Tapping family through John Williams of Towersey. (My mother's side of the family).
I am interested in finding out about how far we can go back for Sarah Tapping (John Williams Wife). They were married in Bledlow 10th April 1792.
Sarah was the Daughter of Joseph and Letitia.
So far, I have the following:
Richard Tapping married Elizabeth Johnson 9th February 1740
Their Children: Richard (1741), John (1743), Elizabeth (1744) who was buried (1745), Joseph (1746), Sarah (1749), Samuel (1751) and William (1754)
Joseph married Letitia 6th December 1767
Their children: Mary (1767), Sarah (1769), William (1772), Elizabeth (1774), Lucy (1777), Hannah(1779) and buried (1780), Hannah (1781), Ann (1783), Joseph (1786)
Letitia buried 1811 aged 66 and Joseph buried 1821 aged 75
Richard Tapping (Son of Richard and Elizabeth) married Mary Carter 1768 and had Thomas in 1775 who was buried in 1775
Joseph Sheriffe married Sarah Tapping (Daughter of Richard and Elizabeth) in March 1769
I am now trying to put some other facts together
