Thanks, Dara. I got my information (and the certificate) from that website. Have you any idea whether Family Search have got all the available civil records online? I was wondering if there is any possibility of more becoming available.
Regards
Diane

Ireland / Stoney family history
« on: Thursday 27 August 09 19:45 BST (UK)  »
Hi there,
Does anybody out there have any Stoney ancestors? My gg grandfather was a Thomas Stoney (born c1822) and my ggg grandfather was a Joshua Stoney (born c1785). They moved to Yorkshire in the 1850s. The English census data shows their place of origin simply as Ireland.
Many thanks
Diane

Tipperary / Stoney-Ryan marriage

Hi there,
I'm trying to find more information about a Joshua Stoney who married a Biddy Ryan in Ballingarry Church - CofI. The marriage took place in 1854, and Joshua states he was a widower aged 50. Joshua was living in Ballingarry and Biddy in Lisbryan.
Does anybody know if there is a family history society in that area?
Many thanks
Diane
