 Thank you but have already  seen this info,
 Ephraim Robinson was born 1850 an died 1852 aged 2 & 1/2 yrs. He was the son of Henry & Christina Robinson, Henry was son of Thomas & Fanny Garner and was born 1829.
1841 census shows Thomas 60 Fanny 60 Ann 15 Henry 12 William 12. I am not sure if Henry and William are twins but Thomas & Fanny previously had twins in 1819 (Mary and Joseph) but both died at about 1 month of age.

1851 census shows Henry,  wife Christina, son Ephraim and father Thomas 70 Ropemaker.

1861 census shows Henry, Christina, son Henry 6yrs and father Thomas 80 years.

Thomas Robinson died 5/10/1864 aged 84yrs in Potterspury.

Thanks Trish for this information. It looks promising but I'm just not sure. No I don't have the marriage certificate yet. Emily?Emma emigrated to Qld. Aust with her husband Robert and children in 1871. She died in Brisbane Qld. in 1886 aged 53 years. On the death certificate her parents were shown as John Smith and Mary French.  I notice in The Whaddon christenings you sent there was one child named JOHN FRENCH Smith c. 7 January 1827. This was interesting as sometimes the mother's maiden name was given as a second name to a child. Anyway, thanks again I will just have to keep searching.   NoelaM

I'm trying to find record of Emma Smith's baptism/christening. On 1851 and 1861 Census she states her birthplace was Nash Buckinghamshire but I have searched the Bucks. baptisms with no result. She married Robert Robinson in 1851 in District Winslow, Buckinghamshire. Would appreciate if the Northamptonshire register could be checked for her.  Thanks.  NoelaM
