Hi, I have since posting, found DNA links that connect me. to the families. Are you connected?

James and Joseph”s parents were John Maitland born 1775 ( I’m assuming in Northern Ireland , but have no proof) and Mary Robinson. The details come from marriages and baptism records from the Banbridge, Co Down area

There is a Facebook group called Ballinascreen genealogy. Lots of Bradley’s from Draperstown there, probably worth a look

Hi
Henry Rainey is I think my 4th great uncle. My connection is through his sister Ann who married McMaster.

I’ve done my DNA on Ancestry and on gedmatch

Many thanks for the guidance. I was hoping to try an narrow down my search a bit. I'm assuming that they were members of a Presbyterian church within the town, First Portadown, being closest to them. Looking on google maps I can’t see an attached graveyard so wondering does anyone know what graveyard would have been used in early 1900’s for that congregation?

My great great grandparents John and Sarah Jane (magill) Maitland died In Portadown ( they lived in west street and Hanover street)In 1911 and 1905. I believe they were Presbyterian and I am trying to find out where they might be buried? Any guidance what the most likely graveyard would be?

I had looked at that marriage, but missed the Morwood as a witness, strongly suggests a link as it may jane’s &  George  Morwoods daughter.

I like the logic of Margaret being Esther’s mothers name & the fact her first daughter was Margaret Jane might be a link to her sister too? I wish I could be certain.

Just to confuse the mix I found two baptisms in castledawson slightly later than Esther dob (haven’t found her baptism)

James Wright born 29/12/1844 father John Wright, mother Jane Morwood

Nancy Wright born 12/11/1842 father John Wright mother Jane Davis
