Hi. I have just started doing my late husband's family tree (Daval, Deaville, De Ville). I have found a note that reads as follows: Canal Street, 1834 William Deaville joined Williamson. 1840 Williamson killed. 1842ish William Deaville died. Jabez Deaville took over, had a large family and died 1862 in Long Lane Asylum. My research tells me that Jabez Deaville was a cotton candle manufacturer at 88 Canal Street, employing 7 men and 12 women. My late husband was the great, great, great, great grandson of Jabez Deaville.
