Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / James Simpson CHAPMAN
« on: Saturday 25 February 23 15:49 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I have a James Simpson Chapman born c.1798 in Hull.  I can find his marriage and burial but not his baptism.  I think the family may have been nonconformist.  Does anyone have any advice where I can look for nonconformist baptisms at that time in Hull.

« on: Friday 09 July 21 16:26 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

Can anyone explain in very simple terms what a gap induced break is.  I'm trying to figure out the link between me and Mr P.  On Gedmatch many of the people who share a link with both of us say there is a gap induced break on one of the chromosomes and I don't know what that means

Thank you

World War Two / KOREAN MEDAL
« on: Friday 15 June 18 08:05 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

We are trying to find information on a medal which has been dug up in a garden in County Durham so that it can hopefully be passed on to the family of the man in belonged to.

After cleaning the medal as best we can it seems it may be a medal from the Korean War and the information appears to be:

Sergeant Cameron with possible initial J
the number round the medal is 1151768

If anyone has any information on how we can trace Mr Cameron, we would be very grateful

Thank you
Lyn
