The Lighter Side / Re: Identifying Ancient Egyptian Family Relationships

I agree with Jamjar.  My husband is Egyptian with many generations of Egyptian ancestors, although his lineage, according to his DNA, is Armenian Jewish.  His relatives all have different looks.

Hi,

If anyone has access to the monumental inscriptions for St Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth I would be very grateful for any information there may be on John Chapman who died 1864.

Thank you

You are very welcome.  I only know because there is an entry in the Memoirs regarding some of the first Methodists in North Yorkshire that I am interested in.

The Memoirs of Joseph Smith of South Holme are on the internet.  Otherwise you should be able to get a copy from the Methodist Archives.

Hi Mc_C,

It depends where and when your ancestor died.  After 1858 the Wills are centralised, before that local.  My ancestors are mostly from Yorkshire so I get the earlier Wills from the Borthwick Institute in York.

If it's Jersey you are looking at, Find my Past website have an Index to Jersey Wills 1564-2000.
