The address given in several newspaper adverts in the 1930s is "9 & 10, The Crescent, Hayling Island"

Other references refer to "overlooking the Spithead" and "Right on the sea front. Near the golf club"

Can you explain how it identifies father's location? It normally identifies groom's location plus father's name and occupation.

Robert Douglas Sen's "The Genealogy of the family of Lind .....", published 1795 describes him as "Captain Francis Lind, M.D. ...."
