Thank you Sandra for the information, I have sent the volunteer a request for a search as of this morning, I oops previously as I do know that Florence died in 1954 in Lansing. As far as the few persons looking up info on Alphonso, they are distant relatives and believe he died in Saskatchewan, my Grandmother Waterer, always told me that he passed away in Lansing . I have checked all cemeteries in the area he lived in here in Sask, and there is no Alphonso buried here, so my gut is going with my grandmother on this one

Unfortunately, his daughter does not appear to have a security death index card either, all I know is that they both passed away while living in Lansing Mich

Anyone know how to go about finding a death date for Alphonso Waterer in Lansing Michigan?, will be no US security notice as he was a Canadian citizen living in Lansing with his daughter Florence Sharpe, will be after 1949 as he shows in  the Lansing Directory in that year

Hi Debbie, thank you for the link to the McSorley's....Mary Anne Finley(lay) was born in Strabane Ireland, so would have had to also emigrate to Canada between 1870 and 1880
