Can anyone help with my dilemma? I have a baptism record of 18 Apr 1879 St Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire, England which states child of ROBERT WRIGHT and MARY ANN and a marriage record of 23 Jan 1901 St Saviour, Everton, Lancashire, England to Mary Evans which gives the Groom's father as WILLIAM WRIGHT (deceased) Doctor. Does anyone have information as to which father may be the correct one?

Benjamin was a merchant seaman rising to master in the late 1800's. He married his first wife Agnes Mary Briggs in 1871 in Liverpool. Can anyone tell me where I can find details of his merchant navy service.

The last post has me really confused. According to the 1881 census and the 1871 census Christopher his father was resident in the Rochdale area was born in Rochdale and his father was born in Yorkshire.

I am not sure this is the right place but I am looking for some help and advice. Edmund Harrison appears on the 1881 census at 15 Fleece Street, Castleton, Rochdale, Lancashire, England and on the 1891 census at vHigh Street, Wardleworth, Rochdale, Lancashire, England marked as the son of Christopher and Elizabeth Harrison. I have been unable to find Edmund's birth in America nor can I find any evidence of any movement to or from America of any of the family. Can anyone help me.
