Rose and Frank Hicks  lived in Toronto between July 1921 and October 1934 and were living in 1934 at 319 Greenwood Avenue, Toronto.
Rose Ann Hicks age 41 travelled back to England aboard the ship Ausonia from New York to Halifax and then to Plymouth, arriving on the 21st October 1934.  Her destination was stated as 69 Chancellors Road, Hammersmith, London, England.  She returned to Canada on the ship Ascania from Southampton, arriving in Quebec on the 19th November 1934.

Many thanks.  I have the certificate of death registry for 'baby hicks' which was stilborn and thus was probably never reported.  The parents were given as Frank Hicks and Annie Turner (her maiden name was Rose Ann Turner) both born in England.  I know she visited England in 1934 and 1960 without FRank but that is all I know so far.  I am about to try to find any other children born to them through the pay site of the Toronto Star but any help would be appreciated.  If I can then find any living relatives in Canada I will send them their family tree in England.

The problem I have is in Canada.  Frank was born in Liverpool and I have his birth details.  He served with the CEF from 1916 to 1919 but little after he returned to Canada in December 1918.  Rose Ann Hicks (nee Turner) was born in London came to Canada in 1921 on a Government paid passage and returned to England twice in 1934 and 1960.  I know they were living in Toronto in 1923 and 1934 but not were they were living in 1960.  I need to find the family which they may have had in Canada but this is proving difficult.  Any help in this matter will be gratefully received.

Many thanks.  Do you know if Frank went with her?  Where can I find the passenger lists?

Trying to find information on the marriage and birth of Samuel Hicks.  He was born about 1800 and had a son, Frances, born in July 1827.  He married Eleanor but I do not have the dates.  Any help appreciated
