Spelk this is amazing. Thank you so much. I have quite a few Roger Stonehouse's but I can see clearly where these tidbits belong.
They are much appreciated.

They would be. I only use free sites if I can get away with it.
But will go back to Newspapers and see what I can find.

Thank you again. Do not move till Friday but still need to put things in boxes. I was going to google Brotton and see if anything came up.

He was my 2nd cousin 6 times removed. Sounds like a loved Man. His daughter Elizabeth never married. She was the one who looked after him. He had one daughter and five sons. Still need to find his wife's death. The last child was born in 1812 and his wife Margaret is not on the 1841 census. But that's for another day maybe after I have moved.
Once again thank you for your help.

Fantastic thank you. His son Roger lived to 93. They both left wills so will get them next week.

Hoping someone can look up an Obituary for me, please. The first one I have found a reference for in all my years searching. I do not qualify for the free lookups anymore. I am moving house this week so no spare dollars at the moment.
Details are as follows;
Yorkshire Gazette
Page   3
Publication Date   7 Jan 1865
Name   Roger Stonehouse and he is a  Merchant
He died aged 98.
Your help is much appreciated

At the time I did not have a computer to download them too. Filed them away and forgot about them.
Never thought FamilySearch would make them unavailable.

I have just tried to download some marriage certificates on FamilySearch that I printed off in 2015. They are now becoming unreadable. To do this I now need to go to FindmyPast.
FamilySearch says Image not available. Then a few say the image can be found at FindmyPast and goes to a log-in page.
Not Happy
