Yes they were a very nice couple, married for 64 years. As for the person taking the photo it was probally my Grandma's sister ( or her boyfriend) as I have another photo which looks like it was taken at the same time with both my grandparents in it together with my Aunt Irene

Hi Everybody,
my father has passed this photo of my grandfather to me. He says that my grandfather served with the Kings Own Yorkshire light infantry in the 1920's and 1930's and during his time with the regiment he served in India. In the photo he is in his rugby kit. Would it be possible to clean the photo and take all the scatches out
