My father received a military burial in 1952 and was buried in St.Seriols churchyard,but there seems to be no record or location of where the grave should be? Surely the officer allocating the funds,soldiers in attendance,firing of rifles,etc. would have a record or a number for this activity;because the 'clerical' staff at St.Seriols haven't got a clue!
I've even contacted the local MP for Holyhead (Ynys Mon)? and he's given up!
All I want to do is erect a permanent head-stone or marker to show that my father is not forgotten,but it seems nobody cares or wants to help!
