I found John O 1775 in the Worcestershire Quarter Sessions! Easter 1824: Theft of duck by John & Joseph Hickman from John Overton, Astley, yeoman, who found one in John Hickman's pocket.

Thanks Jim. I have tried to find a bit more about John and Mary with no luck. No obvious Marriage record that I can see. I suppose that's happening when we get this far back

Hi all

Stuck finding my 3rd GGrandmother born 1812 in Whiteparish Wilts and died in Astley Worcestershire in 1875. I have her married to William Henry Overton in 1834 in Lower Mitton Worcs but before that no idea.

Cany clues? Amors seem popular in Wiltshire

Cheers

Mark

Hi all

I am stuck in Astley with my 4th GGrandfather John Overton. He died in Astley in 1840 but was born in Lower Sapey (Sapey Pritchard) in 1775. Does anyone have any ideas about how to go from here? I have the whole line in Astley at Priors Mill and through to me but no idea about how to find John's parents. There are no more obviouos Overton's on Family Search as most seem to be based in Salop.

Any ideas?

Much appreciated
