 Thank you Col C for all this information when Janet's brother Peter died in 1904 his mother's name was Buchanan on SP. deaths.
 
   I forgot about other names used for Janet my own aunts were Jenny and Nettie.
 
    This Watson family  just don't want to be found it seems.

                 I have been unable to find much on Janet at all two children born 1854 and 1856 both died as infants only census I could find her on was 1881 .

 Janet was born 1827 in Larbert  Stirlingshire    she married John Lang in 1851 in Falkirk he died in 1861
I have her up to 1881 census  she is a widow  and her surname is  Long . She is living with her brother Peter and his family also there is their mother Mary B Watson .

Thomas was born in Falkirk Stirlingshire Scotland around 1857 son of John Watson a bootmaker and Janet Mitchell  ---  on 1881 census he was a draper.

It is said  that  he emigrated to America married and had a family  and died there around 1930.

Trying to prove this is correct.

              Yes I am related to George Shaw McCrindle  ,I would love to see the photos if you make an other couple of posts then we can communicate by private message. I should also add that Jessie and I discovered we were distantly related through McCrindles who originated in Ayrshire Scotland c 1774

Alexander Grant Johnston  he was aged 29 and on active service  married Elizabeth   Divine Beatrice Alexander Dewar   aged 19  and a nurse13 June 1940 at 1 Edinburgh Road Carnwath
he was a rifle man in Kings Own Scottish Borders.

Father Andrew Johnston railway signal man dec. mother Isabella Plenderleith ms Bertram dec.

Father James Alexander Dewar  Estate worker and Jane ms Watson

We received ours this morning  surname  starts with V  all filled in on line and away .

Took me about twenty minutes to fill it in
