I am researching my fathers family tree which is Mackenzie. My Grandfather William George Mackenzie was born in 1900 in Fodderty. His father was John Mackenzie and worked as a ploughman. he married Elizabeth Campbell and had four children, Mary Anne Mackenzie, Elizabeth Logan Mackenzie and John Mackenzie my grandfathers older brother.I belive that my grandfather was named after his mothers brother William campbell as he appears to live at the same address in the 1901 census.
