Trying to check out parentage details of Henryk Piotrowski born Lodz Poland 5 May 1922. Married Alice Butcher Ipswich Suffolk in 1950.
Parents mentioned as Stefania Redko and Boleslaw Piotrowski both born circa 1900. Any idea how to trace online? Cant find anything on Ancestry or LDS?

This was written about Alice's marriage;

Marriage: 2 Apr 1870 St Matthew, Stretford, Lancashire, England

William Fisher Breeze - of full age Valet Bachelor of This Parish

Alice Ebenezer Burbridge - of full age Spinster of This Parish
    
Groom's Father: William Breeze, Labourer
    
Bride's Father: Richard Burbridge, Plate-layer
    
Witness: Jos Hampson & Miriam Burbridge
    
I can find Miriam in the 1871 Census in Manningham but unable to find Alice and William for this census.

Yes - my family on the Burbridge side are inherently difficult to research; thank you for sticking with it!

This is a strong contender and the dates add up re birth! Brilliant lead to follow - thanks - at least a snippet to go on. I am trying to see if William can be found - that might triangulate the area etc and use of name Fisher.

I have continued to look for Miriam this morning - still nothing...

Should read - cannot trace Miriam Burbridge or Alice Ebinezer / William after 1875 and 1870 respectively.

It records her birth year as circa 1850 - so age 25 - which adds up.

Cannot trace her on the Breeze's which is the mystery?

Yes Mercy was a sister. Over 12 siblings altogether.

Ebinaeser was a girl.

Can only think they went North for work.
