Hi
I have Gilbert McIlroy married to Jeannie Henry McKee on 4 Apr 1920 Aghadowey, Londonderry.
Jeannie's parents as William McKee b. 11 Jul 1865, Ballinrobe, Mayo to Annie Greer Moon b. 13 sep 1868, Managher, Londonderry and married 1880 in Londonderry.  I have 2 daughters as Margaret, b 27 Aug 1880 and Jeannie Henry.
My questions are; when did Annie G Moon die and did Annie and William have anymore children besides the 2 girls?
Thank for your help

Hi
It is interesting that my William H was out of the house at the age of 12 or the birth date is off.  I have him in Truro 23 Jun 1860, living with a farmer family; John and Hannah Smith.  I wonder if he signed on to a ship as a cabin boy and got dropped off in Provincetown Harbor, maybe it didn't work out for him.  Viginia Cenus 21 jul 1860, shows that he left before that.  The Census for 1870, Truro shows he was a seaman.
I was also told that he went to Cape Cod after the Civil War.  I have to give this some thought.
Happy Holidays

Sandra and J.J.
Thanks for all the information. I took a quick look and it looks good.  Now I'll look at it in detail.  Filling i the blanks is a very good thing!
Thanks

Hi
Sorry about the confusion.  My error in saying mother's name was Mary.    I wanted to make sure his mother was Emory not Emily. Parents name Robert and Emory Forrest was verified in the marriage ledger.  In the 1850 Census the race was mulatto, that was a concern.  The last name Lewis I still have to verify.  I have the children from the Census, George S, John R, Hezekiah M, and Mary L.  I'm hoping the familysearch beta site will give a clue to Robert's parents.  Looking at the  Census there are a lot of Forrest in Mathews Co.
Thanks
