I am researching Silent Film Pioneers in East London and would welcome any assistance on the following people:

George Josiah Banfield 1881 - 1963 / Leslie George Hubert Eveleigh 1890 - 1939
Philip Myddleton Ross 1893 - 1959 and Bert Ford 1875 -1963
Co-Founders of British Filmcraft Ltd. in Walthamstow.

Albert Henry Bloomfield 1882 - 1933 and John Benjamin McDowell OBE MC 1879 - 1954 - Co-Founder of British and Colonial Kinematograph Co in Walthamstow.

Thomas James Gobbett 1882 - 1915 and David William Gobbett 1884 - 1973 - Co-Founders of Precision Film Company. in Walthamstow.

Walter Alabaster West 1885 - 1958- Founder of Broadwest Films Limited in Walthamstow.

Other locals associated with the film industry:

Albert Blinkhorn 1868 - 1935? - Photographer/Film Agent. Lived in Leytonstone.

George Coles 1884 - 1963 - Architect and designer of Art Deco-style cinema theatres. Lived in Leyton.

Hubert Walter Pexton 1878 - 1956 - Cinematograph Photographer. Founded Pexton & Brooks Ltd in Walthamstow with Charles Edward Brooks 1877 - ?

William Alexander Shead 1851 - 1941 - Cinematograph Specialist. Lived in Leyton.

Robert Spurden Rutt 1880 - 1960 - Organ Builder. His factory was in Leyton and in 1935 he installed one of the largest cinema organs in the Highams Park Electric Theatre (aka Regal Cinema).

George Howard Cricks 1863 - 1936 - born in Woodford, Essex.

If anyone has information or photographs perhaps they could let me know.
Also any information on local cinemas that exisited in Chingford, Walthamstow, Leyton and Leytonstone
