after 4 years of searching ,i have moved a step back ,in my Smith family tree ,and i'm now looking for info on the Butler family .Been down many dead ends but i'm finally on the right track [hopefully!] .  ...

John Smith      
this is 1867 marriage of my dads grandparents ,Louisa Butler and Samuel Smith ,Sms dad was John Smith and Louisas dad Thomas Butler .
Sam and louisa had --John Smith married to AnnJane Deadman daughter of Darrius Deadman and Helen Hodgkinson
John  and AnnJane had --my grandad Ben married to Jinny Elliott
they had my dad Jack 1907 .any info on the Butlers would be much apprieciated ,i have the 1901 census of Louisa and Sam with several of their children stopping in a yard behind St Marks Church in Leicester .I can remember going visiting family in the 1960s theystill used the yard and my dad was born there ...

looking for Allen/Hatfield descendants of Peter Allen and Bridget Clarke married 1903 in Notts they had Thomas 1910 who married Creasy Smith ,they had Tommy and Janie Allen who married  brother and sister Bella And Basher Hatfield and travelled around Northants ,Leics and area thanks for any info.... my grandad Ben  Smith was born 1885 to John Smith and Annjane Deadman who were married  1883 in Rushnall Staffs .
Samuel Smith was  Johns father  on the marriage certificate .
Ben  born 13 Jan 1885 in Staffs had 2 brothers Nathan and Butty [Sam?] and maybe Jack ? and 4 sisters ,Lemmy, Charity ,Peggy and Sally ,who married Napoleon Gray .
I can't seem to find much info on this lot of Smiths ,are they tied in with the well known and documented Smith gypsy dynasties ?they travelled around the midlands [still do ] Notts ,Staffs ,Warwickshire,Leics and help would be much appreciated, i am going nuts with this side of the family ....Thanks .Janeo

looking for Fred Elliott ,horse dealer,father to Jane Elliott, on her marriage certificate .
1906 Daventry ,to Benjamin Smith .my grandparents .Ben's parents were John and Ann Jane Smith nee deadman .i can't find the Elliott line or the Smith line after John .any help or advice would be much appreciated .thank you
