Hi Ange

thanks for looking - they are proving very elusive!  I have William married and living at Holme Abbey by 1854 but have been unable to trace him on the 1851 either although they must have been in the area.  Spending a fortune on CFHS publications for likely areas but to no avail.

Thanks again anyway

looking for the following on the 1851, have been told they are living at Sth George St or River St (Carlisle Part 6?) by a relative but some of the info they have given me is wrong...:

John Walker - age abt 33 born Cheshire
Rachael Walker - age & place whatever she chose at the time (varies on the 1871/1881/1891)
The little Walkers - should be Elizabeth, Louisa & John Thomas (age 3/4) and possibly Caroline.

John died in 1857 and I am struggling to find him on the 1841 in Cheshire so am hopeful this will give me his details and allow me to trace the kids.

would be grateful for any info on the following:

John Walker - born abt 1818 probably in Burslem Staffs
Rachel Walker - details unknown as she changes them on every census, but probably born abt 1816/17.

Looks as if their first child (Elizabeth) was born about 1841 in Middlewich.

Have been unable to trace marriage certificate and John dies young so am hopeful 1841 will give me enough details to trace him further back.

Thanks  Sue

Hi - if anyone has the 1841 Cumberland am looking for the following:

William & Richard Armstrong (twins) baptised Jan 1831 Maryport
Elizabeth Armstrong their mother.

Elizabeth was unmarried when the twins were born so may have married pre 1841, and Richard may have died as a child!

Thanks Sue
