But - they are estimates!

Not to be relied upon for serious genealogy :D

Rescued by 4 local businessmen, and renamed Manchester United.

Nearest coastline probably at Bridport, some 14 miles away.

So Dorset a likely resting place?

Sinterklaas on Monday , ( Flemish slang for Saint Nicholas) must get some marzipan fruit for my little 64 year old son to put in his wooden clog! Also some chocolate money.
Belgian children will get their presents on Monday plus the marzipan etc ,adults at New Year.
Oh happy days!

And a chocolate letter? :D

An example of a Manx baptism register, showing mother's maiden names.

We are better catered for in the Isle of Man ;)
Children's baptisms invariably mention the mother's maiden name.

It was also very common for women's burials to include the maiden name as an alias.

The stamp from the back of the photo. I've flipped the image...
Thank you for looking.

Looks like an artist's palette?

FindMyPast also transcribed:
1939 National Register
1911 Census
1901 Census

None of these were free to FindMyPast subscribers at the time.
It's their usual business model, attempting to reclaim the costs of the transcriptions.
