Dear All, If anyone has access to the GRO index for Canada (sorry do not know the province) would they be willing to look up the birth details of the above person (born 17th April 1926 info from death cert) to see if could tell me the maiden name of his mother and then if possible a marraige of his parents. All I know is that his father was called George. Harold married twice in england but when he came here do not know. Many thanks.

Hi I am new to rootschat so forgive me if you already have found the info. in an earlier message you were on about trying to find the deaths for joseph and Hannah Webster. i assume therefore you mean the parents of Elijah that married Elizabeth Evers and if you do I may be able to Help, Whitwell comes under the Worksop Registration District and both were alive in 1881 (census) I have found the following on the free BMD site Joseph aged 76 Mar quarter 1885 Worksop and Hannah 83 Jun Quarter 1891. i have some webster in my tree but they are very distant
