You might find these free sites useful, the first one you have already been given but I wanted to add the info about where to look  look under North Meols and Southport

Also the free search on the GRO website

Brown Edge was just a few houses just over the Southport border in Scarisbrick, I suspect they would be living on one of the properties actually on Southport Road as the alternative Turning Lane appears to be named on the 1911 Census forms. I live in Birkdale so next time I go that way Iíll take a look. I might even have a nose round Churchtown when it cools down a bit!

For the moment I have no idea where Blown Out Lane is! I did wonder if it could be Blowick Lane.

I hope youíll feel better soon Roobarb.

I shall continue wearing a mask indoors or crowded outdoor situations (not that I go anywhere particularly crowded!) as Iíve done when I was allowed out after long bouts of shielding. I see many shops are asking people to continue to wear masks. I canít see our so called ďfreedomĒ lasting long.

Iím at the hospital this afternoon Iím expecting them to still be insisting on masks being worn. Iíll be wearing mine. I was going to walk there but as itís so hot I might drive to the garden centre nearby and walk from there!

Candleflame I hope your husband gets an emergency dental appointment and gets sorted out quickly, toothache is horrible.

Just typed a couple of paragraphs and then realised it wasnít allowed as it was too medical so hope this version is OK.

Mid June given pain relief stick on plasters, wonderful pain free for first time from May 2019
Last Friday came out in rash in area of plaster, leaflet said common lasts a few hours
Still there Monday, ring GP at 8.30 in queue for 20 minutes, said I needed to see GP, no canít do that. GP will ring you
11.45 GP rang come to surgery at 12.15 turns out Iím allergic to the plasters
Get home have coffee go to Chemist for prescription
By now itís 2.15 ring Hospital speak to Consultantís Secretary, she will add a note to my notes, consultant on holiday, next appointment in August.
By 3.30 Iím exhausted in pain and upset and I went to bed with a coffee. Didnít do much got the next couple of days.

Now Iím wondering
How come I can go to the hospital to see a consultant, go to the hospital for blood test and scans see the dentist, see the optician but I canít see a GP without jumping through so many hoops? I was the only person in the waiting room.

Rash is slowly going, I feel less tired but very, very fed up that the only thing that works Iím allergic too. Am I surprised? not really just fed up after all Iíve gone through since January 2019.

After that moan Iím going out for a walk, Iíll have a coffee out.

I was fast asleep well before 10pm and when I woke up at 6am this morning I knew weíd lost as I was sure if weíd won the cheering from my neighbours would have woken me or fireworks.

I loved the photos of Prince George I saw today of his excitement when England scored.

Iíll join the ďnot into sports groupĒ please. I do like Ski Sunday but thatís about it.
